THE MAGIC OF JOE LANTIERE

Joe Lantiere has been doing magic for over 50 years. His first stage show was in 1969. He is a graduate of the prestigious Chevez School of Magic. He is a past-president of both local chapters of The International Brotherhood of Magicians (I.B.M. Ring # 59) and The Society of American Magicians (S.A.M. Assembly #29, which he co-founded in 1982). In 2009, he was made DEAN of Assembly # 29. In the I.B.M., he is a member of the ORDER OF MERLIN, Shield Level.

He was the first place winner of the New England Close-Up Magic Competition held in Worchester, MA in 1983, and is the recipient of many local magic awards and honors. He has given magic lectures on many topics.

He has been performing as "Joseph Potter, Colonial American Magician" since 2006.

He performed as "Mister Miracle the Wizard" for over 30 years.

He has been doing Tarot Readings for more than 25 years.

In 1991, he was one of the 4 Founding Fathers of The Inner Circle of Bizarre Magick ("ICBM"). He left the "ICBM" in 2003 and now rarely performs his Bizarre Magick act.

Joe is also an accomplished musician and a Master Mason (32nd Degree). In the past, he has been a Justice of the Peace, a member of Mensa (the High-IQ Society), the Inner Circle of Bizarre Magick and the Psychic Entertainers Association. Joe has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and is a Purchasing Manager.
